We're thrilled to announce that Birdie has been ranked 23rd in the inaugural edition of The Sunday Times 100 Tech, a list of Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies. This recognition comes from one of the UK's most respected media institutions, supported by Singer Capital Markets, HSBC Innovation Banking, and BDO.
This comes just as we released our 2024 Year in Review, which highlighted some our milestones in the last twelve months:
- We supported over 1,000 UK homecare providers to deliver an astounding 73 million hours of care—more than double the previous year.
- Our platform facilitated over 60 million homecare visits, averaging more than 164,000 visits per day.
- Our Family App now connects over 120,000 family members, providing them with invaluable reassurance and visibility of their loved ones' care.
- Over 117,000 new care recipients were onboarded to the Birdie platform.
Being included in The Sunday Times 100 Tech acknowledges the hard work of our entire team, our partner care agencies, and the carers who trust our platform every day. As we start an exciting new year, this achievement is a new milestone on our journey of enabling better care for older adults.
